The Pau Casals Foundation opens a new competition for grants for the broadening of cello studies. This new competition expands its territorial scope, making eligible all the cello students of the Spanish territory, of the Principality of Andorra and of the Pyrénées-Orientales.
The applicants shall be students who are working towards a higher degree in cello or who have already obtained such degree, and they may not be over 25 years of age. Inasmuch as this year the Pau Casals Grants have varied their conception with respect to the previous editions, all the cello students who meet these conditions may apply for a Grant, regardless of whether or not they have received a Grant from the Foundation previously.
The cellists who wish to enter this competition shall submit the required documents by e-mail to fundacio@paucasals.org and submit the required DVDs ( see Clause “f” of Point 5 de les Bases) by postal mail to the headquarters of the Pau Casals Foundation (Av. Palfuriana, 67, Sant Salvador. 43880 El Vendrell) before 15 December 2009.
