Open Doors Day at the Pau Casals Museum

On the occasion of International Museum Day, on the coming Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May the Vil·la Casals-Pau Casals Museum is holding an Open Doors day with free admission for everyone and special activities.
Saturday, 17th May
·Open Door day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
·Guided tours: 11 a.m. and 5.30 p.m.
·The Legacy of Pau Casals as a Teacher. Presentation and viewing of films of Pau Casals’ master classes at the University of California, Berkeley in 1960: 12.30 p.m.
Sunday 18th May
·Open door day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
·Guided tours: 11 a.m.

On Friday, 16th May at 1 p.m., Ràdio El Vendrell’s programme La Calaixera (to be broadcast live from the Deu Museum) will feature a round table with the participation of all the musems of El Vendrell. The round table will reflect on and discuss the theme of International Museum Day 2008: “Museums as Agents of Social Change and Development”.
