PEDRA SECA – An exhibition of the barraques or dry-stone vineyard huts of La Bisbal del Penedès

Del 16 de juliol al 14 de setembre tindrà lloc a la Sala Polivalent de Vil·la Casals- Museu Pau Casals l’exposició “Pedra seca”, que explica els detalls de construcció i catalogació de les barraques de la Bisbal del Penedès.
From 16th July to 14th September, the multi-purpose hall of the Vil·la Casals-Pau Casals Museum will be hosting the exhibition “Dry Stone”, which presents information on the construction details and cataloguing of the barraques or dry-stone vineyard huts of La Bisbal del Penedès.
The exhibition features a photographic collection of the catalogue of almost all the dry-stone vineyard huts of the municipal district of La Bisbal del Penedès and drawings of the construction details of all types of elements made of stone, a simple material which is found in great abundance in our area.
MARGE, the environmental section of the Forest Defence Group (ADF) Clot de Bou of the municipalities of La Bisbal del Penedès, Masllorenç and Albinyana has organized the exhibition.
