
Notice (06/11/2024): Due to unforeseen circumstances, pianist Francesco Piemontesi, who was initially scheduled to perform, has had to cancel his participation in the Diada Pau Casals 2024 concert tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the Palau de la Música Catalana. This sudden change necessitates adjustments to the program, which will now be performed by cellist Daniel Müller-Schott and pianist Annika Treutler. The same tickets will be valid.
An evening held as part of the VII Pau Casals Day –Barcelona, a celebration and commemoration of the historical and symbolic link between Pau Casals and the Palau, and the international reach of the master musician.

DANIEL MÜLLER-SCHOTT, Cello
Born in Munich, he is the co-artistic director of the Vevey Spring Classic Festival 2024 and is considered one of the most important cellists of today, with an extensive international career. He has performed numerous concerts as a soloist with the best orchestras around the world, such as those of San Francisco, Los Angeles, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Munich Philharmonic.
ANNIKA TREUTLER, Piano
Winner of the “Opus Klassik” award for the recording of Viktor Ullmann’s piano concerto in the category “Concert Recording of the Year,” she has performed with the most prestigious orchestras worldwide, such as the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Symphony Orchestra, and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. She is the artistic director of the #respondinmusic project and a guest professor at the Hanns Eisler University of Berlin.
