    Les pipes Dunhill van ser creades el 1910 per Alfred Dunhill. El material que s'utilitzava era de bruc i aquestes pipes tenen una peculiaritat; és que porten un punt (petit) blanc a la boquilla per saber la posició de la boquilla. Aquest punt blanc s'afageix a la pipa el 1915 i es va coinvertir en un signe de qualitat.
