An exhibition of photographs organised to mark the 25th anniversary of the death of Pablo Casals to bring the life, work and personality of this great musician closer to the public. The exhibition has been displayed in Barcelona, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, El Vendrell, Toulouse, Paris, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo and Vic.
It consists of a first section of more than 70 photographs from the Pau Casals Foundation’s archive, showing chronologically the different stages of the musician’s life, and a second section made up of reports by great photographers such as Fritz Henle and Vitas Valaytis. Various wall texts and panels with thoughts by Pablo Casals complement the exhibition.
