As part of the Ramon Casas Year, the Pau Casals Foundation is displaying this artist’s work in the Pau Casals Museum’s art collection, made up of a total of 18 pieces, three oil paintings and 15 charcoal drawings, which Pablo Casals acquired between the 1920s and 1930s, intended to decorate the house of Sant Salvador (El Vendrell, Tarragona). The Portrait of Júlia Fons, an oil painting measuring 188 x 79 cm from the beginning of the century, is one of the most valuable pieces in the collection.
